Meet Belinda & Mari

It’s hard to believe, but we’ve been best friends for 37 years—37! It feels like just yesterday we were high school girls, laughing together and navigating life side by side. We even worked our first job together when we were 16 and 17—how crazy is that? Then, life took us in different directions. I (Mari) ended up in Bradenton, Florida, and you (Belinda) moved to Houston, Texas. But no matter how far apart we were, our bond never weakened. When I finally made the move to Houston, we couldn’t have been more excited to pick up exactly where we left off, as friends, moms, and now grandmas. We’re total opposites—like yin and yang, or coffee and decaf (yes, we’re that different)—but somehow, it works. Our differences balance each other out, filling our friendship with laughter, chaos, and a lot of shared dreams. It's the kind of friendship that fills you up, even when you’re running on empty. And now, as the founders of Besties Picnic Creations, we’re SO excited to turn all that love, creativity, and connection into something beautiful for others. We can’t wait to help you create memories that will last a lifetime, because honestly, who doesn’t need a little more laughter, good food, and maybe a blanket to lie on in the sunshine?
